The Veil Nebula

This is my third in a series of nebula paintings.  I work directly from my computer using the NASA Hubble Telescope website.    This painting was featured on the Facebook page of the Hubble Space Telescope on February 19th of this year.  It received over 8000 likes and 600 shares!

I became fascinated by the wonderful Hubble images in  January of last year, and I began a journey of my own through the joy of painting my impression of nebulas.

I love painting the dark and the light and the translucency of nebulas.
